The Pinease Mid-Autumn Cultural Gathering reimagined the Mid-Autumn Festival as an immersive “Search for the Moon” journey, bringing together traditional customs, intangible heritage, interactive experiences, and live performances in a contemporary New York setting.
From lantern making and calligraphy to hanfu, traditional games, mooncakes, and music and dance, guests were invited to wander, participate, and create their own Mid-Autumn moments.
Rather than simply presenting tradition, the gathering made it something to experience and share—connecting culture, community, and the timeless feeling of finding a little piece of home beneath the same moon.
