Yang Hu
Co-founder & Program Director | Early Intervention Specialist

Yang Hu grew up in New York as a Chinese immigrant, shaped by the richness of both Chinese and American cultures. This bicultural experience has given her a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and a lifelong interest in bridging cultural understanding.
She holds a degree in Asian American Studies, which deepened her understanding of identity, history, and social justice in immigrant communities. Over the past seven years, she has been actively involved in volunteer work, supporting underserved populations and building connections across cultural and social divides.
As a social worker specializing in children with autism and developmental delays, Yang has seen firsthand how culture, community, and empathy can shape a child’s growth and well-being. These experiences inspired her to found Pinease—a nonprofit platform that brings together art, cultural expression, and social impact.
Through Pinease, Yang aims to build a bridge between cultures and uses the power of art to foster empathy, inclusion, and healing across communities.
