Jingfan Zhang
Producer | Narrative Strategist | Media & Public Communications Professional
Jingfan Zhang graduated from the State University of New York with a dual focus in Media Marketing and East Asian History, and later earned a Master’s degree in Market Data Analytics from Pace University. His academic and professional work has consistently centered on the structural relationship between data architecture and public narrative construction. In 2019, he participated in the 74th United Nations General Assembly UNDP forum, contributing strategic proposals on data governance and contemporary frameworks for public issue communication.
In the field of cross-cultural public expression, Jingfan served as a media representative for Kuaishou and co-facilitated the “Voluntary Garden” online concert initiative jointly organized by UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, the Ryuichi Sakamoto Studio, and Kuaishou. Amid the global pandemic, the project integrated multi-platform content strategies to create a symbolic cultural response in support of Wuhan, demonstrating the power of structured narrative and coordinated public messaging during a moment of global crisis.
During his tenure at the World Journal, Jingfan co-organized the CSI Forensic Training Camp led by Dr. Henry C. Lee and participated in strategic communications for New York Council Member Susan Zhuang’s election campaign. He also assisted in hosting New York City Mayor Eric Adams during related public engagements. These experiences strengthened his expertise in public figure positioning, political communication environments, and cross-community engagement strategy.
Since 2024, Jingfan has been active in the North American short-form digital drama industry, serving as Assistant Director, Line Producer, and Producer at Journey Entertainment, a leading production company in the sector. He has contributed to multiple projects generating cumulative revenues exceeding eight figures. This phase further refined his capabilities in narrative architecture, IP development, and communication rhythm management, consolidating a methodology that treats content as medium, structure as foundation, and influence as outcome.
Jingfan has maintained an ongoing collaborative relationship with Pinease. He served as host for Pinease’s second Women Entrepreneurship Forum, worked as on-site assistant and Guest Coordination Lead for Zhiyuan Xu during the 8th YUANJIA music-poetry-fashion program, and acted as Producer and Public Relations Lead for Dr. Henry C. Lee’s 11th Pinease lecture as well as the 12th collaborative project between Journey Entertainment and Pinease. Through sustained engagement, he has developed a deep understanding of Pinease’s organizational culture and long-term strategic vision.
