Hao Yuan

Hao Yuan is a New York–based violinist, violist, and teaching artist with an international performance and education background.
Hao has performed extensively as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player in the United States, Europe, and Asia. She recently appeared as a violinist with the Modus Operandi Orchestra in New York and was awarded a full scholarship as a violist at the Chamber Music Workshop in Cleveland, where she gave a highly successful concert performance. As a new violist, she won the Lilian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition.
As a chamber musician, Hao is a co-founding member of the piano trio Triography, an emerging New York–based ensemble dedicated to presenting classical chamber music through community concerts, educational programs, and public cultural events. The trio regularly performs at libraries, churches, and community venues, bringing high-level chamber music to diverse audiences.
Hao is also an active teaching artist and currently serves with a leading nonprofit organization providing music education to underserved youth in New York City.
Originally from China, Hao earned a Professional Performance Diploma in Violin from the Manhattan School of Music in New York. She brings a global perspective to her artistic work and is passionate about building bridges between performance, education, and community engagement.
