This passionate and romantic concert/lecture will take the audience on a musical journey. Through representative piano works of great classical composers, it will guide us from the Baroque era through Classical and Romantic periods into the modern age, unfolding the piano’s artistic evolution and expressive depth. We’ll also reflect on the question: What is a pianist? How does public perception align—or not—with a pianist’s own self-definition? And so on.
